20mm Precision Bench Dogs for Festool MFT and alike (Standard Dogs)

Precision Dogs - Standard Precision Bench Dogs are a must have for any woodworker who uses Festool MFT/3 or similar type grid pattern bench with 20mm holes. With their help one can quickly get reference edges for crosscutting (90 or 45 degrees). Incorporate them into a jig to quickly connect it to a workbench and secure with your choice of knobs (as Festool p/n 488030). Each Bench Dog has a M8x1.25 thread for that purpose with an oversized chamfer that helps easily locate the thread from underneath with your knob for clamping. Our Precision Bench Dogs come in two sizes and each size choice comes with (4) Dogs - Standard or Short. Both sizes have the same diameter (19.98mm) and length(18mm) shaft. The head(top) part of Standard dogs have a 10mm height which is ideal for working with ½” or thicker material. Short dogs have a height of 5mm for thinner than ½” material (see picture for reference). ● Precision Machined. All dogs are machined out of 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum on a premium CNC lathe to 0.025mm (0.001”) tolerance or less for precision fit in Festool MFT/3 and alike. ● Easy Grip design. Head(top) part of a standard dog has our unique Spiral design for ease of removal from your workbench. Short version has an offset single grove. ● Universal Fit. All Precision Bench Dogs have an undercut diameter on a shaft ( we pioneered this idea for dogs back in 2013) that eliminates any radii and guarantees the dog will rest flat on the workbench once inserted whether the holes have chamfer or not. ● Premium Threads. The threads in our dogs are formed, making them 60% stronger compared to standard cut one. Thread chamfer is oversized on the bottom that helps to locate thread with a knob from underside. ● Durable Finish.
